[01/09/2009] Soothsayer's Review
A lovely deck. The cards are very highly laminated, which will not be to everyone's taste, but I like it very much. The artwork in this deck is sublime. It has an anime or comic-like look to it, which I find very appealing. The five artists have their own distinctive styles but they work very well together; my favourites have to be Cups (Stephanie Pui-Mun Law) and Pentacles (Saana Lappalainen). The backs are non-reversible, borderless and a very pleasing design and colour scheme (primarily green and turquoise). It's also great to have some of Stephanie's artwork in the form of a tarot deck. I am now awaiting her Shadowscapes deck with even greater anticipation!

The accompanying, full-colour booklet is also very impressive. It contains descriptions of every card (including reversed meanings) as well as information regarding the Celtic Cross spread and other RPG-related details. All in all, a good quality, well produced and well presented package, featuring five very talented artists.
