The Thoth Tarot, created by infamous occultist Aleister Crowley in the early 20th Century, has come to be recognised as a classic and many modern decks have been based on its striking images and insightful interpretations. Crowley made extensive use of kabbalistic and astrological attributions, which some may find confusing. However, there's no denying that the depth and complexity of the images provide ample opportunities for interpretation and study, and many claim they obtain their clearest readings using this deck.
