1. You must agree to abide by the following terms of use every time you list an item for sale, or purchase an item on THEBASEMENT.

Buyers
2. Buyers understand that purchases made via THEBASEMENT are not purchases made from Tarot Chest, but from private individual sellers, and as such should be treated with more caution than usual.
3. Buyers agree to make payment within 24 hours for items purchased on THEBASEMENT.

Sellers
4. Sellers agree to dispatch orders within 2 working days following receipt of payment.
5. A 10% fee is due and payable to Tarot Chest for every item successfully sold on THEBASEMENT. Non-paying buyers, items lost in the post, or items where the payment has been refunded, may be notified to Tarot Chest and the fee for these particular items will not be due. Fees over £2 must be paid within 30 days via Paypal from the seller's account page. Payments may also be made by adding seller basement fees to any regular order a seller may place with Tarot Chest.
6. Only private individuals may use this service, and may not act on behalf of any business.

Disputes
7. Orders which are not paid for, lost in the post, or refunded for whatever reason should be notified to Tarot Chest so that the seller's fees can be reimbursed.
8. Buyers and sellers should communicate via their email addresses to resolve disputes wherever possible. Where this fails, the PAYPAL dispute system should be utilised.

Liability
9. Tarot Chest accept no financial liability for the use of THEBASEMENT service to buyers or sellers and recommends following best practice guidelines available on this website.
10. If, for a given transaction, Tarot Chest is found to be liable for damages these will be limited to the total amount of seller fees claimed for that particular disputed transaction.
11. Both buyers and sellers create item condition descriptions and leave feedback. These should be pertinent, non-abusive, non-offensive, and infringe no legal rights or cause claim of legal action. Buyers and sellers agree to hold harmless Tarot Chest in respect of any legal action arising from such data. Tarot Chest reserves the right to cancel any sales listing or remove any feedback without notice.

General
12.1 Tarot Chest is a trading name of D'Avekki Studios Limited(registered in theUK: company number 4989192).
12.2 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England, UK. Any dispute or controversy, not resolved in the normal way, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of England, UK.
12.3 Each Term and Condition set out in this document shall be construed separately and will remain in force even if for any reason one or other of the Terms or Conditions is held inapplicable or unenforceable.
12.4 Section headings have been included in these Terms and Conditions for convenience only and are not to be used in their interpretation.
12.5 These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without prior notice to you.
12.6 Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.
12.7 THEBASEMENT is a match making service only utilising data to match buyers and sellers, and should be used as such, and not for any other unlawful activity or trade or advertisement.
